Ms. Silverman concentrates her practice in the area of Trusts and Estates.     She has been certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the North Carolina State Bar.   This practice area includes estate planning and estate administration as well as handling estate controversy work that has not yet proceeded to litigation.

As an estate planning attorney, Ms. Silverman works closely with families in formulating an estate plan that accomplishes both the goals of the family and favorable tax planning. Each estate plan that Ms. Silverman designs is carefully tailored to a family’s particular needs. Ms. Silverman takes great care in educating her clients about what good options exist to effectuate their goals and counsels with them in making the best decision. In addition, Ms. Silverman works closely with the family to understand the funding and implementation of trusts created under a decedent’s estate planning documents.
